C + T were married at Nate and Elise Howard’s farm—an intimate, quintessential island wedding for a longtime San Juan Island family. I created the bridal bouquet, bridesmaids’ bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony altar florals, and all of the reception arrangements, and transformed the barn into a floral wonderland for dancing.
Every bloom was locally grown from seed—hand-selected by the bride and grown by me just for her wedding. Truly seed-to-bloom, farm-to-table florals. After the celebration, I preserved her bridal bouquet by drying it into a wreath and creating a small art piece from the remaining blooms—so the flowers get to live on, long after the day.
